AntibioPlus

Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 5, 2026

AntibioPlus is an informational mobile application for antibiotic guidance and antimicrobial resistance education. This Privacy Policy explains what the app does, what information it does not collect, how app content is sourced, and how users can contact us with questions.

Short Summary

About AntibioPlus

AntibioPlus organizes antibiotic guidance into mobile-first sections such as definitions, abbreviations, principles of antibiotic use, clinical guidance, antibiotic allergy information, Access/Watch/Reserve grouping, and an appendix of antibiotics by international nonproprietary or generic name.

Content Sources and Basis

The clinical and educational content in the app is based on the Kosovo antibiotic guideline document provided to the project, identified in the app development source as Udhezuesi i perdorimit te antibiotikeve FINAL.pdf. The app structures this guideline into searchable and readable mobile sections.

Several in-app sections preserve source-page references from the guide, including examples such as definitions from pages 9-10, abbreviations from pages 11-12, allergy-related antibiotic content from pages 173-175, and antibiotic appendix content covering the generic-name ordering of medicines. The section on principles of antibiotic use is also based on UDHEZIMI ADMINISTRATIV (MSh) Nr. 04/2025, specifically Article 27 on the duties and responsibilities of the physician.

The app is intended to make the referenced guidance easier to browse on mobile devices. It does not create new patient-specific recommendations, does not diagnose users, and does not replace the original documents or the judgment of licensed healthcare professionals.

Information We Collect

AntibioPlus does not require user registration and does not collect, store, sell, or share personal information from users.

Information the App Does Not Collect

The application does not collect or request:

Search, Saved Items, and In-App Navigation

The app includes search, navigation, expandable content sections, and saved/bookmarked guide items. These interactions are used to help users move through the app content. Based on the current app implementation, this interaction state is handled inside the app interface and is not transmitted to us or to a backend service.

Users should not enter patient-identifying information into search fields or use the app as a place to store medical records. AntibioPlus is a reference tool, not a patient record system.

Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking

AntibioPlus does not include third-party advertising tools, behavioral tracking tools, or analytics SDKs for profiling users. We do not sell user data, share user data for advertising, or use the app to track users across other apps or websites.

Permissions

AntibioPlus is designed as an informational guide and does not require access to sensitive device permissions such as camera, microphone, contacts, photos, location, or health data in order to provide its core functionality.

How the App Is Used

The content in AntibioPlus is provided for educational and informational purposes. The app is not a replacement for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Healthcare decisions should be made by qualified professionals using clinical judgment, local protocols, patient-specific factors, laboratory results when relevant, and the official source documents.

Third-Party Services

The app may be distributed through platforms such as Google Play. Those platforms may process information such as download activity, device compatibility, crash information, or account-related information according to their own privacy policies and terms. AntibioPlus itself does not add third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking tools.

Data Sharing

Because AntibioPlus does not collect personal information, we do not sell, rent, trade, or share personal information with advertisers, data brokers, or external partners.

Data Retention

Since AntibioPlus does not collect personal information, there is no personal user data retained by us from the app. If future versions add features that require data collection, this Privacy Policy will be updated before those features are released.

Data Security

We design the app to minimize privacy risk by avoiding collection of personal data. Users should still protect their own devices with normal security practices such as device passcodes, operating system updates, and downloading the app only from trusted distribution channels.

International Use

AntibioPlus may be available to users in different countries through app distribution platforms. The content is based on the Kosovo antibiotic guidance materials described above and may not reflect every local guideline, medicine availability list, or regulatory requirement outside that context.

Children's Privacy

AntibioPlus is intended for healthcare and educational use. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your Choices

Because the app does not require an account and does not collect personal information, there is no app account to delete and no personal profile to update. Users can stop using the app at any time by removing it from their device.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

If the app changes in the future and begins collecting any user data, this Privacy Policy will be updated before that change is introduced. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when changes are made.
